The Synod of Anglican Episcopal Churches of India is committed to proclaiming and living out the Christian faith, centred on Jesus Christ and grounded in Holy Scripture.
The following statements express the fundamental beliefs and convictions of our Christian community.
We believe in one Holy Triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and there is no other name given under heaven and earth.
We believe that Holy Scripture is God's written Word.
We believe in the genuine spiritual power of the Sacraments. A Sacrament is a visible sign instituted by Christ to give grace to His people.
We believe in Apostolic Succession through the laying on of hands by the power of the Holy Spirit, continuing the tradition of the Church.
We believe that the Holy Orders of Bishops, Priests, and Deacons are open only to believing men, following biblical practices.
We believe in the power of God to heal the sick and the brokenhearted.
We believe that loyalty to our Lord is expressed by loving our fellow men.
We believe in the necessity of inward spiritual development and the outward amendment of life of every Christian.
We stand for Biblical faith and morality.
We affirm that marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman.
